• Error 526 while restoring a family file

Error 526 is generally caused by a temporary I/O error.

 

Please download the most current build (update) to Legacy Family Tree 7.0 from http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp. If you are using version 6.0 or earlier, please download from http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/helpDownloadVersion6.asp.

 

There is no need to uninstall the existing program.

 

Next, reboot your computer and re-run the restore.
