1837online.com will soon scan and place online the National Archives’ entire historical database of passengers who embarked on sea voygages from Britain’s shores between 1890 and 1960.

I am very pleased that the information on British emmigrants to Australia will soon be on line from 1890 to 1960 as I am searching a friend who emigrated in 1959 – 1960. Good luck

I was really excited by this news until I realized my ancestor came between 1883 and 1886. I hope earlier passengers will be added sometime.
