Legacy Family Tree Webinars is a webinar website for genealogy and DNA testing education, where you can enjoy a robust offering of live and recorded webinars (“Services“) owned by MyHeritage Ltd.
This Privacy Notice for Legacy Family Tree Webinars ( “we,” “us,” or “our“), describes how and why we collect, store, use, and/or share (“process“) your information when you use our Services, visits to our website familytreewebinars.com(“Website”), when you contact us directly, or engage with us in other related ways including marketing, or events.
Should you decide to attend one of our live webinars, you will need to sign-up via the platform through which it is provided (GoToWebinar), and for your use of their service, they will be the data controller. - What personal data do we collect when you visit our Website or use our Services?
We collect personal data that you provide directly, such as your name, email address, country, billing information or content of your communications, when you register for webinars, create a membership, sign up for newsletters, contact us, respond to surveys, or participate in a webinar (including using polls, or Q&A during a webinar).
If you are a speaker or business partner, we may also collect your name, job title, photo, resume, employer, and other professional information you choose to share.
We also collect certain technical information about your use of our Website, including which pages and webinars you view, and which features you interact with. This may include data collected through cookies and similar technologies used strictly for website functionality and security.
- How Do We Use Your Personal Data?
We use your personal data to:
- Provide the webinar or service you requested.
- Process your payments.
- To communicate with you through our customer service or by sending you Newsletters to the email address you have provided to keep you updated with information about upcoming webinars. You can opt-out from the Newsletters emails at any time.
- To market our Services, and to offer you complementary MyHeritage products or services. You can opt out from the marketing emails at any time.
Operate, analyze, improve our Website and Services or develop new webinars and services.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or share your personal data with third parties for cross context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising, and we haven’t done so in the last 12 months.

Additionally, you have the right to not be discriminated against as a result of exercising your privacy rights.
