Setup Instructions: Only install Legacy 9 to C:\Program Files(X86)\Legacy9
If uninstalling Legacy 10 to reinstall Legacy 9 please:
A. If you have backups of your Legacy 9 family files before they were opened and converted to the new Legacy 10 format then follow these steps:
1. Uninstall Legacy 10 browsing to Documents>Legacy Family Tree>_AppData and delete the entire _AppData folder. Next browse to C-Drive>Program Files(X86)>Legacy and delete the entire Legacy Folder.
2. Use the above to download and install the final build of Legacy 9.
3. Start Legacy 9 and click on Help > Unlock Deluxe Edition and enter your version 9 Deluxe Edition Customer Number.
4. If you did not open and convert your Legacy 9 files to the new Legacy 10 format then all of your files should still be in their original location and can simply be opened. If you did open your original Legacy 9 files with Legacy 10 then you will need to Restore your Legacy 9 family files to the C:\Users\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Data folder.
B. If you don't have backups of your Legacy 9 family files before they were opened and converted to the new Legacy 10 format then follow these steps:
