Error 3265 when using the Source Clipboard:
With Legacy closed, delete the .DBM files from the Legacy folder on your hard drive.
LEGACY: Open your Documents folder and browse into Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\DBM
LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: C:\Legacy\DataDelete any .NC files in Legacy’s Data subfolder.

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: C:\Legacy\DataNext download and install from our Web site the most recent update file to your Legacy program. This action will replace the deleted files.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem, export your records into a new Legacy family file:
Click on File > Export > Export to a new Legacy Family File. Give your new family file a name and click Save and the Legacy Export screen will open.
Click the Privacy Options button to open the Privacy Options screen.
In the lower half of the screen, under Override Private Settings, click the Check All button and then click Save.
In the Legacy Export screen check mark Include general To-Do items and then click Start the Export.
If the AutoSource Reminder screen opens, click the Don't Assign a Source button.
The export will begin. When it's complete click OK.
When asked "Would you like to open the file you just export to?" click the Yes button.
Use the new family file and delete the old one when you are satisfied with the results.
Legacy should work now, but if all else fails... a user had success with a complete uninstall/reinstall.
Error 3265 "Item not found in this collection" can popup in Legacy when repairing error 3800. Follow these steps:
Close the error 3800 message
Click on File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair.
There are two screens, each with a Proceed button you must click.
There are over 190 steps. Don't stop the Check/Repair.
If error 3265 messages occur during the Check/Repair process, click Yes as many times as needed to finish with the repair process. (You can also try clicking on No repeatedly.)
If an Error Log is created at the end of the Check/Repair process, close it and run Check/Repair again.
Most of the time, at the end of the second pass through Check/Repair there is no Error Log because all the problems were fixed.
Try Legacy again and if the program is still gives error 3265, proceed with the following steps.
Click on File > Export > Export to a new Legacy Family File. Give your new family file a name and click Save and the Legacy Export screen will open.
