FGS 2006 Announced – Boston, MA

Breaking News about the 2006 Federation of Genealogical Societies Conference:

The Federation of Genealogical Societies’ annual conference will take place August 30 – September 2, 2006 in historic Boston, Massachusetts. The New England Historic Genealogical Society is serving as the local host for this event.

At the 2005 conference in Salt Lake City, a preliminary registration brochure was released to conference attendees. The brochure contains just a hint of what is shaping up to be the largest genealogy conference ever. The full program will be online later this fall at the FGS Website www.fgs.org.

Family historians always seek additional news and details – it’s second nature to us! The 2006 conference has provided a way for you to learn about the terrific opportunities that will be available: the expanded program; the speakers from across the United States, Canada, Ireland, England, and Scotland; the extensive exhibit hall; the many activities in and around Boston; and the plethora of research facilities in the area.
