Jimmy Parker, R.I.P.

One of the finest individuals I've ever known passed away last Friday, September 9, 2011. Jimmy Parker was a dear friend and mentor and a major influence in the genealogy community. You've probably watched him on television or attended one of his classes. He was the manager of the Family History Library for 5 1/2 years.

I'll miss you dear friend, and so will the thousands of genealogists you've helped over the years.
