The New Zealand Probate Records 1848-1991 are incomplete as I know of Probates issued within that time period that do not appear, For example Ruth Agnes Grimshaw who died in 1974.
If one goes to the Archways site and does a search on the Grimshaw surname for example one gets more that two results on probates for the time period in question.
