Things I have learned in the 45 years I have been exploring my ancestry include: public records are often wrong; Aunt Mable’s memory cannot be relied on; tombstones have errors on them; obituaries are often dotted with errors; and I could go on. I often need a number of sources to get at the probable truth, and even then, it can be wrong. In any case, family trees all contain errors, and over time, some of those errors can be corrected. I want to know how I can replace or delete and add a new family tree to familysearch.org. The version I have out there has errors in it that I have since corrected–and that process goes on.
